Intake & Assessment

Our first session will consist of a comprehensive intake session to discuss the challenge you’d like to work on. This helps me determine the right approach for you. While hypnosis is a powerful tool, there are some cases where I may not be the best fit, including:

  • Certain mental health conditions – If you’re experiencing severe mental health concerns that require medical or psychiatric care, hypnosis may not be the right approach.
  • Medical or therapeutic replacement – Hypnosis can be a great complement to traditional therapy, but it’s not a substitute for medical treatment or mental health therapy.
  • Readiness for change – Hypnosis works best when you’re open and willing to engage in the process. If you’re unsure or resistant, we can discuss whether this is the right time for you.
  • Under the influence – If you’re under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances (incl. prescribed medications) that impair focus, hypnosis will not work.

 

If hypnosis isn’t the best path for you, I’ll be upfront and may recommend other resources or professionals who can better support your needs.
